We usually 4 star or 4 star+ hotels for our Opera Club trips. Comfort and affordable luxury are the trademarks of our trips.

We do! Although by far the largest concentration of opera houses and symphony halls, plus the origin of Opera, is in Europe and so the majority of our trips are to the continent. This also ensures much less travel time for these shorter duration trips.

No! Whilst the origins of the Opera Club lie in opera, we often include a ballet and or an orchestral performance with one or two operas. We are always looking for ways to diversify our trips and attract more members.

Not at all. Whilst we call ourselves a club, we aren’t exclusive and are open to anyone who’d like to attend. We’d love to have you!

Group sizes can vary but they will never be bigger than 20 people plus the escort. We will travel even with very small groups of 5 or 6. What can be said of all size groups is that you will be travelling with likeminded people and will have quite a lot in common. We have regular Opera Clubbers who book their next holiday with people they met on other trips.

Each trip has a minimum number of guests needed in order to run. This is usually 6 people. All of our itineraries are live and will be updated from “Available” to “Guaranteed” once we have reached those minimum numbers so that you always know the status.

Yes you can. Please let us know at the time of booking how many nights you would like to add and whether they are at the start or end of the trip, or both.

All of our trips can be inclusive of flight or land only and vary in cost accordingly. Should you wish to make your own travel arrangements, simply book the land only trip. If you would like flights included but would like to depart from a regional airport or request an upgrade, just let us know and we can arrange that for you.

Each trip is assigned a type based on location and content. At a glance you can see what style each trip is. All trips have the same level of high quality accommodation, meals and excursions, but their locations or extras may dictate their type.

Intro – Our intro trips ease you into opera and classical music with quintessential locations, backstage tours and expert talks, combined with our usual level of luxury and inclusions.

Classic – When you think of opera, where comes to mind? Italy? Vienna? Paris? Then a Classic trip sounds like the one for you.

New Horizons – These trips typically go to the places you might not immediately visualise when thinking of opera, but prepare to be pleasantly surprised.

If they are mentioned in the itinerary then yes, they are included in the price. Any activities or excursions you participate in during free days are not included.

No. We highly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel insurance for your trip that will cover both belongings and medical expenses.
