St Petersburg, February 2017

Four nights at the Domina Prestige Hotel on the waterfront in St Petersburg to see two opera at the exquisite Mariinsky Theatre and a ballet at the Mikhailovsky Theatre.

Romeo and Juliet by Prokofiev followed by Borodin’s Prince Igor and Un ballo in maschera by Verdi performed by the Kirov Opera Company.

Day 1– Transfer from airport and check into Hotel – Welcome Drink and Evening Meal in Hotel.

Day 2– Excursion to Pushkin to visit Catherine’s Palace and Park – Folklore lunch at Restaurant Podvorie with house vodka and wine – Sleigh Ride at Pavlovsk Park – Evening performance of Romeo and Juliet.

Day 3– Panoramic city tour of St Petersburg – Lunch in Restaurant Legrand – Guided Tour of The Hermitage – Evening performance of Prince Igor.

Day 4– Tour of Yusupov Palace and Rasputin Room – Lunch in Restaurant Sadko – Tour of the Church of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood – Evening performance of A Masked Ball.

Day 5– Visit to the Fabergé Museum – Lunch in the Restaurant Demidov – Transfer to airport for journey home.
