Dresden and Leipzig, May 2019

Four nights at the elegant Hotel Taschenbergpalais Kempinski in the heart of Dresden with excursions and guided tours across the region as well as a short cruise on the River Elbe.

Programme: Tchaikovsky’s ballet Swan Lake and Mozart’s Don Giovanini in Dresden, followed by Verdi’s Rigoletto in Leipzig.

Day 1– Transfer from airport and check into Hotel – Welcome Drink before Evening Meal in Hotel.

Day 2– Guided Tour of Dresden, including the Zwinger Palace – Lunch in Restaurant – free time during the afternoon- Evening performance of Swan lake.

Day 3– Excursion to Leipzig – Guided tour of the city – Lunch in Auerbachs Keller – Visit to the Bach Museum – Evening performance of Rigoletto.

Day 4– Cruise on the River Elbe to Meissen – Visit Porcelain workshop – Lunch in Restaurant – Evening performance of Don Giovanni.

Day 5– Excursion to Pillnitz Castle and Park – Transfer to Prague airport for return to UK.
