Tallinn, January 2016

Five nights at the Savoy Boutique Hotel in the historic centre of Tallinn’s Old Town, taking in three performances at the city’s reconstructed Estonia Theatre.

Programme: Tchaikovsky’s ballet, The Nutcracker, Aida by Verdi, Imre Kálmán’s romantic operetta, Die Zirkusprinzessen and Handel’s Rinaldo.

Day 1– Transfer from airport and check into Hotel – Welcome Drink and Evening Meal in Hotel.

Day 2– Guided Tour of Tallinn and the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral – Lunch in Restaurant Dominic – Guided Tour of the Opera House – Evening performance of The Nutcracker.

Day 3– Excursion to the Kåsmu Peninsula, Maritime Museum and Palmse Manor House – Lunch in Palmse Inn – return to Tallinn – Evening performance of Aida.

Day 4– Visit the Kadriorg Palace – Lunch in Hotel – afternoon at leisure – Evening performance of Die Zirkusprinzessen.

Day 5– Visit Tallinn Seaplane Harbour Museum – Lunch in Restaurant Ribe – Evening performance of Rinaldo.

Day 6– Transfer to airport for return flight to the UK.
